David Gilkey is a photographer from NPR sent in to photograph the current state of Haiti after the earthquake that has caused the deaths of thousands of lives across the island nation. Not having to deal with the earthquake shattering his own home, Gilkey was able to continue to do his job without losing his mind by knowing that he was doing his job to help show the world what the real situation is in Haiti.
